HOW DOES FRAMEHUGGERS® CUSTOM MAKE THE EYE PATCH TO FIT MY FRAME?

There are photos on the order form to show you how to measure the frame yourself using inches, mm, cm or you can call the optical department where the glases were purchased and ask them to look up the frame information and tell you what the "A" and "B" measurements are. I also consider the frame material (metal vs plastic) and the best described shape of the frame front. Becaue the eye patch Velcros into place and stretches to "hug" the frame, I can beconfident that you will have a great fit to your frame.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS OF FRAMEHUGGERS® EYE PATCHES AND WHAT COLORS ARE AVAILABLE?

The Framehuggers eye patches are $19.99 each for USA orders and $23.00 each outside of the USA or see our pricing information link for monthly specials. we also have most colors available and you can always ask for a custom color and we would be happy to supply it if possible.

DO I HAVE TO PAY USING A CREDIT CARD ON-LINE TO PURCHASE AN EYE PATCH?

Framehuggers can either take your credit card payment by phone or by using a third party company paypal. Paypal accepts both credit and debit cards as well as deductions straight from a checking account. For those who do not want to use Paypal, I offer a separate order form for USA orders only. You can send a check or money order and your patch will be shipped as soon as payment is received. I will email you confirmation of receiving your order and I will give a total for your order along with a shipping address to mail your payment.

I HAVE SEEN OTHER CLOTH EYE PATCHES FOR GLASSES ONLINE; WHAT MAKES YOUR EYE PATCH DIFFERENT THAN OTHER EYE PATCHES?

Because of my background as lead technician for a pediatric ophthalmologist and having been a certified ophthalmic assistant, i understand the concerns of parents and doctors to need a cloth eye patch that occludes completely and limits the childs ability to easily slide the eye patch to the side when unsupervised. My eye patch is not only custom fit to the frame but it also velcros into place to not allow any shifting in the position on the frame. It also blocks vision above the glasses completely so a child cannot just slide the glasses down and peek over the top. Other parents have commented on the comfort of framehuggers compared to other eye patches as the fleece is very soft and other patches made with felt or other materials are not as soft to the touch as framehuggers.
